The old wooden church (daščara) dedicated to St. Paraskeva was built in 1869 on the foundations of an old medieval temple that had been burned several times, located at the entrance to the village cemetery next to the church itself. An old stone cross, which probably represents the remnants of an old primitive location for performing Christian rituals, is also a testament to that time. Thanks to Kosta Mladenović Gaga, the Church of St. Paraskeva was rebuilt, and then a new, magnificent one was built from red stone, which was then richly painted. The rough work on the site was completed in 1903.
